A few weeks ago for our Monday inspiration I posted a collection of yellow web designs. So today, we’ll focus on it’s neighbor on the color wheel…green. With so much focus lately being put on the environment, we see green being used in this capacity, but it can also be used to signify jealousy and envy. Nevertheless, green can have many different meanings. So here are 50 green web designs to help you see how it’s being used, and to help you get some ideas of how you might use green in your next project. (more…)

Gradients are a great way to add interest, color, and even depth to a web design. You can use the same color in many shades, many shades of many colors or several other combinations you may think of. You can go linear or radial. The point is that gradients are beautiful and can give your website a very unique style. You can use a cool gradient for the whole website design, or only in the header, footer or just in a couple elements of it, but I’m pretty sure about one thing: combining the right colors and shades will make you a gradient lover! You will start using gradients all over, maybe even at your dinning room wall.
So here is our inspirational selection for this week: beautiful gradients in web design. And don’t forget to tell us if you have some samples of gradients to share. (more…)
