The Oregon Foods crab illustration is an in interesting choice. I imagine most designers would show a red cooked crab for the vibrant colors like all the other sites did.

Is there a particular reason why all the freaking blogs on the internet feed us with junk food “Top 25”, “Ten Best”, or “20 Greatest….”. Seriously, enough of these kind of articles already, they are nothing more than a collection of junk, and every blog does it.

Ben, “Lists” bring traffic buddy. That’s the long and short of it. As long as you have a willing market for this kind of stuff, you’ll always have pushers. You’ll just have to go on with your life and ignore these List dealers.

    Ben,
These kinds of lists are actually very helpful for me, since I don’t have to scour the internet looking for good examples of good Restaurant site designs. I’m starting a restaurant site this week and will definitely check back here for inspiration. For every list they post it makes it that much easier to find some inspiration in the future with a simple search.

I don’t understand why this would be so upsetting to you.

Great inspirations. High-Def is a must when doing website design involving food. The more quality the better. These designs are great examples to get you inspired for your next web design project involving food. I love the site, keep up the good work!

I actually find these roundups of different types of sites extremely useful. They’re great for inspiration. In my daily browsing, I stumble onto far more poorly designed sites than I do well designed ones, so this type of showcase saves me a lot of time when I’m looking for ideas and jumping off points.

Restaurant websites are notoriously bad, and I’d love to see more showcases specifically of good restaurant sites. Here are a few I particularly like for restaurants where I live.
