Very weird…I was reading a blog yesterday showcasing the best in BLACK web design and I claimed I preferred the darker site to colourful ones…HOWEVER seeing some of these I may have to eat my words. Haãfe & Haph is an awesome website.

Thanks for the inspiration! Simon, most of these sites don’t follow web conventions at all. However, their goal is to showcase their creative abilities. Its from these types of sites that major innovation develops for the rest of the boring web to use.

Visually these are quite impressive but from a usability perspective they are pretty much all dreadful!

I look at the page for most of these and I’m left wondering what are they actually about. I think Jakob Nielsen would have nightmares looking at this lot
