55 Inspiring Examples of Gradients in Web Design

Gradients are a great way to add interest, color, and even depth to a web design. You can use the same color in many shades, many shades of many colors or several other combinations you may think of. You can go linear or radial. The point is that gradients are beautiful and can give your website a very unique style. You can use a cool gradient for the whole website design, or only in the header, footer or just in a couple elements of it, but I’m pretty sure about one thing: combining the right colors and shades will make you a gradient lover! You will start using gradients all over, maybe even at your dinning room wall.

So here is our inspirational selection for this week: beautiful gradients in web design. And don’t forget to tell us if you have some samples of gradients to share.

Gisele, thanks for including our website design for lightsbydallas, com. It is an honor to be included amongst so many beautiful works of art that have found unique ways to incorporate gradients in their presentation.

Gradients are a very trick technique used by designs because it can make the website stand out or make it look really weird.
I really love gradients but I try to be careful when I have to use it.

I have a personal love for gradients! I use them everywhere. I especially like the light blue to dark blue ones and the gradient with the grunge texture overlay. Great examples!

I notice one thing, more and more websites are being collected for their great unique styles. So, more and more people are getting inspired. I really appreciate this!

Some really nice examples of gradients here, I think using gradients is actually harder than it can seem.

Sometimes when people use a gradient to try and make a design look “pretty” it can really look disastrous. People try and use too much and clashing colours that just don’t work.

I don’t like to go overboard with gradients, I think nice subtle hints of the odd bit here and there can really transform a website into something special.

I think the two that really stand out in this list are serj.ca and mospromstroy.com.

    Thanks for sharing
