Filtered: A New Portfolio WordPress Theme from Theme Trust
Back in October of last year, I launched Theme Trust, a shop for premium WordPress themes. Five months later, I couldn’t be more excited about where it’s at. Sales have consistently increased each month, and the amount of positive feedback from customers has been overwhelming.
Moving forward, the plan is to keep providing fast and friendly support and to release more amazing themes – which brings me to the topic of this post. I’ve recently released a new theme called Filtered. It’s a portfolio theme that has a clean and minimal style along with some nifty jQuery features. Since many of you are obviously web designers, this might be perfect as a foundation for your own portfolio or your next client project.
One of the coolest aspects of Filtered is the animated filtering of project thumbnails. Click on a category, and watch the ones that don’t belong vanish – and the ones that do slide into place. This theme also makes use of WordPress 3′s custom post types. There’s a special post type called “Projects”, which makes it easy for you to manage your portfolio.

February 15, 2011Its sort of seems like a static site in terms of appearance, but has great versatility in acting as a photo blog. You guys did a great job balancing it in such a way that it doesn’t look like just another blog theme. Great job..!

February 15, 2011I can’t wait to try this theme out. I am putting together a family website for my family and I think this will be a perfect wordpress theme to use. I know it will probably have to be heavily modified to work for what I need, but still others can appreciate the fact that this is an “out of the box” solution for a portfolio website.
