Web Design Ledger in .net Magazine
A few weeks ago I received an email from one of the staff members at .net magazine saying that they wanted to showcase WDL in their gallery section. I happily agreed. Yesterday I received word that the issue is now available.
If you’re not familiar with .net magazine, it is the best selling web design mag in the UK and is quite popular here in the states as well. But keep in mind, in the US it is called “Practical Web Design”. I’m not sure as to why they use two different names.
I haven’t gotten my hands on a copy yet, since it won’t arrive here for another 3-4 weeks, but below are a couple of screen shots of a PDF they sent me.

Congrats Henry. I love your site design so it’s good to see it getting that type of recognition.

@Mike Smith – Thanks! It’s always nice to get recognized, but it is even nicer to get recognized in print.

They can’t call it .net in the US because Microsoft publishes a magazine called .Net for developers using their .Net platform.
Congrats on the spot, I’m fairly new to Web Design Ledger but I like what I’ve read so far

@Tony – Thanks for shedding some light on the reason for the name difference. But do people really still use .NET?

I’ve just come to the site after reading the .NET magazine. I really liked the design, especially the way the most recent comments are displayed.
I am working on a similar project called http://www.scrunchup.com, a site aimed
at, and created by young web designers/developers.
My designing has a lot to live up to if this is the standard of the competition!
