Architecture is probably one of the most complex forms of art. Not only should it be beautiful, but it must also be functional. The same thing can be said about other forms of art like web design, but architecture takes place in the real world with real materials, and on a much larger scale.
Since we are most often surrounded by architecture in our daily lives, it’s to be expected that architecture is a popular subject for photographers. In this article, we are presenting a showcase of beautiful architectural photography. In these photos you’ll notice a strong focus on composition and lighting. As well, many are shot from angles that reveal beauty in the structures that probably goes unnoticed by passers-by.

Great photos guys…very bold and dramatic. Will definitely be taking the camera out to shoot some buildings soon..THX!
Great photo’s, I wonder how well those buildings would hold up in an earthquake.
Greeat pics! Would be cool to know where they’ve been taken.
Some of those are stunning. I also like the fact that the order you posted them shows the variations and serves as a reminder of the impact of color.
It is amazing how one art form can influence and enhance another. Thanks for sharing these pics!
Stunning inspiration, architecture and the lines of buildings has always been an area I’ve drawn inspiration from, thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much for sharing this kind of post. Beautiful images. Creative photography. A stunning use of camera.
I think Alex Roman’s “The Third and The Seventh” would deserve some extra attention here. It’s a cinematographic view of architectural beauty, made entirely of CGI.

Wow!really impressive to see how it was captured.I love photography and i’m working out to learn the angles of every picture and how to capture the perfect side.
Great collection of architectural photography! I love taking pics of commercial buildings and noticed the last one in particular because it’s also in my personal portfolio. I took it last year in October while touring San Francisco.
