When most people think of art involving paper, they think of drawing, sketching, or maybe painting. However, there are very talented people out there that create art from paper in more unusual ways. I’m talking about paper art that involves creative forms of cutting, folding, and carving. Materials for this type of art can vary, ranging from ordinary paper to whole books. Wow. Those were amazing. There were some that I stared at thinking that those are too good to be paper…like the reebok shoes and the one below it.
Those are great. I especially love the white tree and the book ones.
Wow! The ideas and attention to detail behind most of these pieces is an definitely awe inspiring, paper engineering is a gifted and skilful art, one area that I have tried but never really had the patience. No one ever really hears of paper engineers, in my opinion they deserve more recognition for the creativity and time spent of each piece. Great post, thanks for sharing.
