Love seeing these typographic based roundups. One of the most important parts of a design based on content. Great to see what is being done with this now that we have the ability to actually use many fonts in web design.

I seems like, for the sake of the nice design and typography, you selected some sites which are, in fact, great examples of MMN (Mystery Meat Navigation). For instance the site of “Fillet”. Pretty nice design and interesting fonts and graphics, but pretty obfuscated as well: will anyone guess what is that site about, without being previously guided to some typography examples? Where is the menu? Which is the primary aim of this site? Or the final aim? Why should I guess that I must to roll the wheel of the mouse to do… to do what? After all, what that site offers to me?

It is not enough for a web site to look nice. It must fulfill the needs of the visitor and to offer him plain and clear information. It is not the case of “Fillet”. Nice picture, awful site.
