35 Inspiring Headers and Footers

Almost a year ago, 12/31/2009 to be more precise, I wrote my first article here at WDL, Headers and Footers that Grab You Coming and Going. So now, 11 months and 47 articles later, I decided to do a new showcase of headers and footers to inspire you.

Headers and footers are extremely important in web design, as we mentioned last year, they are powerful sections of a website and it’s very important that you take good care of them while putting together your site. From clean and minimal to colorful and illustrated, you can really get your viewers attention with beautiful and well designed headers and footers. Check out some inspiring examples we’ve gathered.

Without headers and footers, you’d fail the web standards so I couldn’t agree more on its importance. From the list above, I love Weberica’s portfolio..

    Gisele,

What a great collection. Very inspiring. In fact, it’s reminded me how I need a site redesign, and not just so my header and footer matches, but to create that visual completeness you get from looking at your showcase sites.
