There are some really inspiring pieces here. Some really creative techniques have been used for some great web design solutions. I especially like the lyrically noted simplicity, and the ever changing colours of Fuel Brand Inc.

A wonderful collection of design templates. few of these designed are of the same kind but most of these are really unique and has a separate identity. Really a rich resource for the professional web designers as well as for the novices.

Colors are cool, i can’t understand why so many sites are still like Bauhaus designs…

This is just what designers need. Visceral impact in inspiration. It’s not until you see a colourful site done well that you understand just how well it can add to the user experience.
The new billboard site is a good example of colour done well on a corporate level.

Visually these are quite impressive but from a usability perspective they are pretty much all dreadful!
I look at the page for most of these and I’m left wondering what are they actually about. I think Jakob Nielsen would have nightmares looking at this lot

Thanks for the inspiration! Simon, most of these sites don’t follow web conventions at all. However, their goal is to showcase their creative abilities. Its from these types of sites that major innovation develops for the rest of the boring web to use.

Very weird…I was reading a blog yesterday showcasing the best in BLACK web design and I claimed I preferred the darker site to colourful ones…HOWEVER seeing some of these I may have to eat my words. Haãfe & Haph is an awesome website.
