I think most would agree that typography is a difficult skill to master. A few months ago, we showed you some tools and tutorials to improve your web typography. While these are very useful, tools are only half the battle. Having a strong foundation of typographic knowledge is crucial. In this post, there are 10 sites that will help you improve your type skills through learning about typography. I would suggest following all of them if possible.
Typesites
Typesites is an excellent source of typography inspiration. It is a weekly showcase of websites with interesting typographic design.
Typographica
Typographica is a review of typefaces and type books, with occasional commentary on fonts and typographic design.
I Love Typography
I Love Typography is probably one of the most popular blogs on the subject. It’s designed to inspire its readers and make people more aware of the typography that’s around them.
Typophile
Typophile is a community driven typography site full of useful articles and resources.
Upscale Typography
Upscale Typography is loaded with useful typographic tips, new releases, pre-release notifications, historic references, trends and everything else typographic.
Type for You
Type for You is a blog that covers all things typography.
Typography Served
Typography Served is another great resource for typography inspiration. All of the work displayed is streamed from the Behance Network.
We Love Typography
We Love Typography is a social bookmarking site for typography focused media. Tons of inspiration here.
The Font Feed
The Font Feed is a blog dedicated to typography.
Typographer.org

Some great links.
http://typornography.blogspot.com/ is quite a good one, it’s more inspiring than anything, but I’ve found some beautiful things there in the past.
As well as at http://www.swiss-miss.com/ It’s not strictly typography, but there’s a strong love for the Swiss Style, and that’s a good basis for anyone learning about type

I do have one little request: There are so many great sites out there that I don’t have the time to thoroughly read every site linked in a post like this. It would be incredibly helpful if a feed URL was listed with each site or, even better, an OPML file of them all was provided.

Excellent post. I haven’t heard of a few of these. I also use Typechart.com for inspiration, although its primary purpose is to save time when choosing typography.

Thanks for the post! I do refer a lot to “Typesites” and “I Love Typography”. But I also believe that simply going through these sites and blogs cannot help you to master the skill of typography. They might help you to develop a foundation of typographic knowledge but you need to experiment. The more you do it the more you can master the skill.
