Best Examples of Watercolor in Web Design

Last week we posted a big collection of photoshop brushes for creating watercolor and other painted effects. These brushes will make your life easier when applying a watercolor style to a design, but you probably want to start by getting some inspiration and seeing how this particular style should be done. In this post I’m showing you, what I believe, are the best examples of using watercolor in web design.

    Interesting collection 🙂

I don’t see WebDesignerWall as a site of WaterColors because it is all made up of florals?

    But other sites are great.

The great thing about watercolor in design is that it has an organic feel. It’s a refreshing break from the standard ‘wired’ glossy look. Thanks publishing. love the corvus site.

Really lovely collection! The use of watercolor is something is still fairly uncommon (from what I have seen anyway). What a wonderful way to soften the inherently tech-y nature of a website! Thanks for sharing these examples…inspiring indeed!
