These brushes will make your life easier when applying a watercolor style to a design, but you probably want to start by getting some inspiration and seeing how this particular style should be done. The watercolors look amazingly grungy online. Strange because in real life watercolors look more serene.

The great thing about watercolor in design is that it has an organic feel. It’s a refreshing break from the standard ‘wired’ glossy look. Thanks publishing. love the corvus site.

Really lovely collection! The use of watercolor is something is still fairly uncommon (from what I have seen anyway). What a wonderful way to soften the inherently tech-y nature of a website! Thanks for sharing these examples…inspiring indeed!

Very nice selection of water colour websites. How long does it take you to find such a collection? I have used this effect in posters but not a website yet as I have not had the right cliental to do it for yet.
