New specs allow developers to create games and all kinds of cool stuff in your browser. Naturally this has lead to a renaissance of interesting stuff built on top of HTML/CSS/JS which furthers the current spectrum of websites online.
A newer product Typatone is very cool and surprisingly fun. Each sound runs based on your keypresses, both the keys and how quickly you press them.
Once you type a sentence, phrase, or simply mash your keyboard, you can run the music back again to hear how it sounds.
Those who fall in love with their creations can e-mail them to others or even download an .mp3 copy. The team also releases new info on the Typatone Facebook page.
If you’re a developer this may also prove as some inspiration for a unique or “out-there” kind of project. I’m not even sure how they built Typatone and I certainly wouldn’t know how to make it mobile responsive.
But regardless of how it was built or it’s purpose, one thing is fairly certain: this is a great way to kill some time being silly with your keyboard.
