In the past, I’ve shown you free icon sets that are great for web applications, as well as icons that are highly detailed. Even with all the free icons available, you won’t always be able to find ones that fit every need. That’s why it’s a good idea to develop skills that will allow you to create your own.     I constantly struggle with my avatar for various websites. I really want to design my own, but I have needed to resort to Microsoft clip art. Thanks for the information. Now maybe I can find my own expression.

    nice, but most of them aren’t icons really. Why can’t even well educated designers distinguish between icons and illustrations?
