It’s probably fair to say that coffee is the drink of choice of many web designers. So I thought it would be fun to showcase some awesome examples of coffee/latte art. If you’ve never seen this done before, it’s created by pouring steamed milk into espresso and then swirling or drawing in the top surface. Here are 30 examples of this that look so amazing that you would hate to drink it and mess up the design.

You’d think the coffee would be cold by the time they’d finished making it look that good!!
If you want more than 30, check out http://artinmycoffee.com.
Didn’t even know this sort of thing existed! I suppose the only problem is, by the time you’ve finished admiring them, your coffee may well have gone cold!
When I was in Monte Verde, Costa Rica I went to a restaurant called the Treehouse. They did this with the coffee’s, I thought it was pretty cool..
In Japan,Maid coffee shops(google for it) really love to display their dishes, coffees with drawings. Although i fed up with cutie images and hearts, i must admit they really good at it.
Are these real photos? Or are they doctored? They look so good. This really is art.
Nice photo’s, but what has this got to do with webdesign?
Just appreciate the art and be inspired by it.
Wow. If I had one of those in the morning, that would surely wake me up.
So cool. if you are an artist you can create with any medium
Those are just amazing. Who would want to ruin something beautiful like that.
So sweet… how did you get those photos? Is there any credit to each photo?
Holy! Those are amazing! I’m gonna have to try this with my homemade lattes. I’ve been making em ever since I found Kaycircle’s article on how to do it: http://www.kaycircle.com/index.php?q=How-to-make-a-Latte-at-home-without-a-machine
Beautiful indeed, but I still wanna drink it. Looks delicious. ;p
