HTML5 is certainly here to stay, from a numerous list of articles, events and buzz about this latest revision of the HTML standard. Some websites using HTML5 proudly show the official logo and state the sentence “support the future now”. So to support all this buzz and the technology we decided to gather a new list showcasing websites using HTML5.

Hi Gisele,
Thanks for the post. One suggestion, from my end is that it would be nice if you could add a bit of description with regards to each site, maybe a bit about the HTML5 feature/s that each site has implemented.

There are some absolutely fantastic designs and development in these websites. They are so well thought through and must have had a lot of time put into them. I love the simplicity of Virtuti Design, when you look at their portfolio work its set out lovely. Thanks for the inspiration.
What a nice piece of webdesign.
Thank you for this article.
My website is also created in HTML 5 and i’m still working on the new features.

Great collection here, we used alot of HTML 5 elements at https://www.brandora.ca as well, but these give me some new ideas as well.
Love these html 5 sites. My photography site was recently redone getting rid of all flash for HTML5 – check it out: josemandojana.com
Everything is “HTML5” nowadays. Just use some tags and voilá. Some of the sites look bad in IE8.
LOL! and with IE9 only supported in Vista and above, IE8 will soon become the new IE6… zzz.
They’re all very nice, but it would be nice to see more examples that are not portfolio sites. There’s only so much they have to do functionally. It would be good to see some practical/creative uses of HTML5.
Thanks for featuring Fidiz.com 🙂
Learning HTML5 and seeing Live example is totally different experience.these websites are not only for inspiration but also for learning.
Thanks!!
Gisele,
Thank you for listing us in your HTML5 Showcase on the web.

More and more websites are now making use of HTML5. Some great inspiration for our next web project, thanks for sharing.
Great collection of sites using HTML5. It’s very helpful to see it in action and how it helps improve websites from a design point of view. Very creative sites. Lots of inspiration to be found in this article.
