Instagram is Finally Available on Windows

At last, Instagram has come to Windows — yes, you read that right! You can now download the public beta of the Instagram mobile app for Windows, which is available in the Microsoft Store starting today.

Instagram, the highly popular mobile app and social network for sharing photos, had so far been available for iOS and Android devices, whereas Windows users were left out. All of that is going to change, as the app is now available in beta. Much like all other versions, users on Windows too will need to login to Instagram using their accounts, and can then upload and edit photos.

Since the app is still in beta, users will have the option of providing feedback and sending bug reports, to help make the stable version of the app even better.

As of now, the Instagram app is available only for Windows 10 Mobile. However, over time, there are plans of offering desktop apps and supporting other versions of Windows as well.

Download the Instagram app for Windows from here. Be warned, the app is still in beta and might have minor bugs.

FYI, there have been unofficial alternatives such as 6tag, which to this day, are still better than the official app.
