It is surprising the amount of services and apps that don’t really worry about their websites, about the way they show their product/idea to users. I browse around the web a lot, looking for inspiring websites to show here, and when it comes to services and apps, it’s usually hard to find nice designs. This is why today I gathered some examples in this niche that do care about design and deliver inspiring websites for their users.

Agreed – we’ve developed software for writing a novel and when checking out the competition, were amazed at how many of them had absolutely shocking websites. Also, the Postable website is just gorgeous, and a great idea to boot. Everybody loves receiving something through the post, and likewise, I think most people find an ecard feels a bit half-hearted…
https://mailchimp.com/
So, basically, we’re all copying each other again. Seems like the only way to get on this list is to have a home page with 1) branding bar, then 2) full width beauty shot, 3) a few rows of pretty product shots and minimalist copy and alternating backgrounds. Got it. Done.
Great compilation..I liked Drivr most.
I knew most of them but, good to see them all at one place, I personally use flipboard. Thanks
i like how Check is designed. Awesome inspirational reading material
It seems to have become all about screen space and scrolling…..nice sites but will the user really scroll through all the info?
