Web design tools have not been keeping up. Trends are evolving so fast designers cannot keep up using traditional tools. As a result, Designers are then forced to resort to learning various forms of code. In my opinion, being a talented designer is not something that comes across easily to everyone. Therefore, design should be enough. Perhaps the problem is not the designers, it’s the tools. I believe design tools need to step it up and deliver or be left to wither away. This is why I’m overjoyed to see established companies like Adobe, and other up and coming software developers, willing to take on the challenge to create the latest and greatest web design tools.
