60 Minimal and Super Clean Web Designs to Inspire You

A clean and minimal web design is an effective way to convey an image of elegance and sophistication. This type of design is all about doing more with less, and making use of plenty of white space to let content and page elements breathe. However, it can be difficult to come up with a solid minimal website, because you can’t rely on “shiny” design elements to make things visually appealing. So if you’ve struggled in the past to tackle this type of web design, we’re here to help. Here’s a showcase of 60 minimal and super clean web designs to inspire you.

Waho… really cool selection with Ssome great examples.
I definitely love the “Berit Somme” portfolio…I already knew this website and I think I would never been tired of its fabulous design.

They sure look similar, but I don’t think it is a rip-off… maybe only a coincidence, or same inspiration and style.. not sure!

Really do like the simplistic elegance of Mid Tone Design, you and your mouse can’t help but want to click into the site. Which lets face it, is the main challenge to all web sites (user interaction).

Interesting collection. I’m a big fan of minimal designed sites. I believe that the presentation of the content should never overshadow the actual content. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi there,

Thanks. That is an awesome collection. I’ve love my designs to be simple, elegant and neat. I hope someday my site would also feature in lists like these.

Too many…way way too many pretty, busy sites that confuse, scare away and are like Christmas trees with large deposits of tinsel thrown on using both hands repeatedly. Your site, collection gives one hope. HELLO. Maybe that should be 30% of the opening page, to ease them in rather than deer in the head light arch welder atomic blast harshness approach. Thanks a bunch. Really. Not just being polite here.

I pride myself on being a modern web designer and am currently redesigning my own website in a minimal style. Perhaps you could add my site once it’s ready.

Nice article, some average example but some beauties too – I especially like MonkDesign.

Finally I get to see a real list of minimalist cool websites. I’ve been browsing for them for so long just to find plain websites with no graphics and Times New Roman and the alike fonts (the horror!). Thanx for sharing the list! 😀

Great list, thank you very much. I went through them to look for inspiration for a contact page on a minimalistic site. Most of them had a contact page so this was very helpful. Minimal can be so simple and yet so stylish.

The art of creating a minimalist web site will in most occasions result a massive amount of design deliberation! If the correct attention to detail isn’t invested, most observers of the site will merely look at it and think “did they give up midway through?”
