Icons are graphic representations of motives, entities, programs, data, actions and so on. The inspiring thing about icons is that they represent something in a tiny graphic where details and good design are everything.     Loving the espresso one – have one of those coffee machines, it’s a kenwood cafe retro, a really lovely piece of design on its own. Translates so well here…

    These are great but I have a question… according to an article on this site (that lead me to this article) you should design your icons to have 90 degree corners, and the radius corner will be applied at run-time. I think that the radius is different depending on the size the icon draws (512×512 – 29×29). So if this is accurate how do you accomplish the Whiskey glass icon so that it will always appear to be 3D (thinking about the rim of the glass) or the swim trunks having an accurate “lip” at the top?
